Adventures of Riding the Four Corners of the United States by Motorcycle

Day 26 - Transiting to Toronto

Riding more of the Island was on the agenda for the portion of the day so we were very pleased that it was not raining, just high clouds. After another wonderful adventure of enjoyable Indian breakfast we took off for the eastern part of the Island and Point Prim (the same location of a photo op last year). The ladies did very well considering we had some gravel and wet clay road portions to traverse.

The rain held off and we had a great time and ended up in Montague for lunch at a converted train station (just for George - our second train station lunch in PEI).

We left for our PEI home in time to get my bike to the nearby Harley dealership Red Rock Harley Davidson so that they could replace my rear tire before the trip back (only had a couple of thousand kilometers left) as the servicing was completed last Friday.

It was sad to pack up and leave for the airport as we had enjoyed our time so much in PEI. But we were also excited to be in Toronto to see our good friends the Boehmers and enjoy the Insight for Living 25th anniversary celebrations. Thhe trip was uneventful (meaning I was asleep before we took off and slept all but 15 minutes of the entire flight). Renting the car and getting to the Boehmer's home in Aurora got us there at 10 pm, in time to meet friends of theirs and visit awhile before we collapsed.
