Adventures of Riding the Four Corners of the United States by Motorcycle
Day 21 - Leisurely
Leaving Perce Rock gave us the opportunity for some different shots of the Rock and town. We almost felt out of sorts leaving at 9 instead of 7 or earlier, but it was great to rest and enjoy a leisurely breakfast (again working hard at the French)..It is better. Yesterday I had ordered a Rickards Beer, but later realized that I had not made it clear I preferred "honey brown" so I went to the bar and made my request (clearly I thought). The server looked like she understood. However, she shortly came along with a Rickards Red (the only type they had) and two packets of honey. So she got part of my request.
Today we seemed to get the "kinder" side of the Gaspe Peninsula (better roads and fewer stoppages) and found ourselves in New Brunswick and then Bathurst in short order. A mere 410 km (250 miles) and 7 hours (including more coffee stops than usual).
Tomorrow Prince Edward Island.
